Due to unknown technical reasons, we can not share AJAX based NETVIBES at school, yet. There are some alternatives for RSS aggregators. You can experiment with a few choices at home or at school.

  1. Slideshow of screen shots: Netvibes, start.com and iTunes<--I can not gurantee the following sites (Netvibes, start.com, etc.) would work at school, yet. I have pilot tested at home and in my office on campus.

「 英作文の添削指導・feedbackの種類の効果について 」は学界でも意見の別れるところですが、小生は次の実践研究に基づき、添削・feedbackは内容と文法についてはコメント、下線などで朱書き指示はしますが、具体的な訂正・提案は原則として記入しません。自分の作文に「誇り」と「愛着」をもって」推敲・校正・修正をすることが肝要と考えます。

Summary †

●概要: 英作文（ESL）の授業を履修している大学生７２名（英語能力は中級レベル）を教師から提供されるフィードバックの種類に応じて４つのグループに分け、８枚の絵（＋口頭による話のサマリー）を見せた後に絵の中の出来事について３０分間で英作文を行わせる。そして、２、３日後にフィードバック情報つきの英作文を本人に戻し、３０分間でリライティングをさせて再提出。修正前後の英作文に対して文法面と内容面の双方から採点を実施すると以下のような結果が得られた：

��（No feedback）：内容面のみが有意に向上（文法面も有意ではないが向上）
��（Grammar feedback）：文法面と内容面の両方が有意に向上
��（Content feedback）：内容面のみが有意に向上

★コメント: †

教師からフィードバックが何も与えられなくてもリライティングをすることによって文法面でも内容面でも向上が見られたのが興味深い。また、本実験では、文法的なフィードバックは誤りがある部分に下線を引くというだけのものであるが、この種のフィードバックを受けた学生全員に文法的な改善が見られたという報告は、誤りの箇所を指摘するだけでも学生が文法的な誤りを訂正するのを助ける手段となりうることがうかがえる。
