Dear Prof. Maxxi Yaxxa,

We would like to notify you of the time for your paper presentation, 'Technology for teaching narrative EFL writing in large university classes in Japan: an ongoing field study' for JALTCALL 2006.

Your presentation is scheduled for Sunday from 14:20 to 15:00, in Room C-302. Although we have taken care in the scheduling process, if you are presenting more than once, could you please confirm that there are no clashes in schedule. Please also ensure that there are no problems with your equipment needs. You can check equipment by checking the "Rooms & Equipment" link from the conference website.

Also, please ensure that you register for the conference before April 30th to take advantage of the early bird discount. The registration pages are available through the JALTCALL Conference Site (http://www.jaltcall.org/conferences/call2006/). Please note that it is the responsibility of the submitting presenter to remind all other presenters to register.

Please also ensure that you organise your hotel and travel arrangements early to avoid difficulties. Some possible hotels are listed on the JALTCALL Conference Site (http://www.jaltcall.org/conferences/call2006/).

Dear JALTCALL Conference Presenter or Participant,

1. Conference Dates/Time: June 3 (Saturday) sessions start at 10:00 am, June 4 (Sunday sessions) start at 9:00 am. No sessions on Friday, June 2.

2. Travel to Campus: See the attached walking map to the SGU campus, along with directions from the airport.

3. Handout and Slide Files: Presenters please upload your files of handouts and slides at the Handout/Slide Repository. Go to: http://ept3.sgu.ac.jp Please bring your own copies of handouts (average amount: 20-30) due to very limited copying available on site. Post your file in the Repository, so participants who missed your presentation can see your topic or contact you further. You have been pre-registered into the Respository; use your family name (all lower case) as your userID and also as your password. Please contact Don Hinkelman <hinkel[at]sgu.ac.jp> if you have any trouble logging in.

4. Registration: Go the A-kan building for the conference, and the registration is in the first floor lobby. ....

6. Wireless Internet: Bring your wireless-equipped notebook to give real-time feedback to the presenters. Free wireless internet available throughout the conference.
