Collocation

Collocation

  • "I've got a jop this Saturday."???
  • I do not trust 英辞郎, but if you did consut it, read the context more carefully - I've got a job to do, an errand to make, with an infinitive -- Dictionary watcher? 2005-07-04 (月) 23:47:01
  • Check to see the difference: I have a job in New York. I have to work in New York?? but I have to work this Sat. -- Dictionary watcher? 2005-07-04 (月) 23:49:00

little chance??

  • "I have little chance to visit the library recently."???
  • Please refrain from asking such a naive questions. chance is small or few? -- Dictionary watcher? 2005-07-04 (月) 23:47:44
  • fat chance! Please stop posting such nonsense post - You are embrassing yourself. Beside, I am not your English tutor. Ask someone who knows English more. Again I do not trust 英辞郎 nor Japanese-Dictionary too much. You should use Kenkyusha's Collocation Dictionary, if you may. Again stop posting such columns, as I take no responsibility for authoritative judgement on your English,. -- Dictionary watcher? 2005-07-04 (月) 23:52:26
