グループワークの最終課題・一環として、 †

「特に教職志望の学生の皆さまと「これからの教育」を一緒に考えるきっかけとして，我々は「教師観調査」を大学生対象に実施しました。その結果として「今の大学生は教師をこのように見ている」「これから教師になりたいと思っている大学生はこんなことを考えている」などの情報を提示することで，この場を情報交換の場と活用していただけたらと思っています。」

読解力と作文 - two sides of the same coin †

6/10/05の授業では読解力は、パラグラフ構造、単語が重要と言及しましたが

もちろん、「背景知識」が必要です。参考になるのはシエマ（スキマタ）理論

  1. ESL/EFLの教師は、学生が読むテキストの前提となっている背景知識と学生が持っ ている背景知識の間の最適なバランスをとるよう努力しなければならない。
  2. ESL/EFLの学生は、読解は自分自身と自分の背景的な前提知識やテキストとの相互 作用の過程であることに気付くべきである。

Criticism of schema theory †

  1. schema theory：新旧情報の統合を説明しようとしたが、新旧情報の扱われ方の説明が不充分。(e.g.similaritiesが読み手にどう気づかれ、どう読解していくのか説明していない。) 理解の過程についての定義や理解度の予測ができていない。
  2. Schema theoryは普通の読み手には当てはまらず、大学レベルの比較的難しい読み物に当てはまる。prior knowledgeの効果は一般的な読解力の効果よりずっと小さい。(Carver,1992)
