MEncoder専用。 Softskip はエンコードで、フィルタチェインの前に行われるフレームスキップ (ドロップ)のシークエンスを、フィルタチェインの中の特定地点で行われるように移動させる。 これにより、全フレームを見る必要のあるフィルタ（逆テレシネ、時間軸デノイズ、など）が適切に動作できるようになる。 全フレームを見る必要のあるフィルタの後、後続のCPU負荷の高いフィルタの前に置くべきだろう。

Only useful with MEncoder. Softskip moves the frame skipping (dropping) step of encoding from be- fore the filter chain to some point during the fil- ter chain. This allows filters which need to see all frames (inverse telecine, temporal denoising, etc.) to function properly. Should be placed after the filters which need to see all frames and before any subsequent filters that are CPU-intensive.
