Timber Felling

1. Brief introduction of timber felling

Timber felling is to get the timber from nature, and then, manufacture it into wood. In the game, wood is required in the production of every weapon, armor, ship ram and figurehead.

2. Precondition of timber felling

Find the skill tutor and learn the timber felling skill. Players can learn the timber felling skill of 1 level, the level 1 special skill of timber research and an axe. You are able to mine after you are equipped with the axe.

3. How to timber

The forest is usually located on the rural area or the island. When everything is ready, players can move the character to an area specifically designed for timber felling. After getting the pickaxe ready, you can look for tree for timber felling. You can find trees that can be timberged by moving the mouse onto them. If a tree is able to be timberged, it will give you a signal.Then, you can begin timber felling by left clicking the mouse

4. The usage of tools

  4.1 The durability of the axe will decrease during its usage, and it can’t be fixed.When the durability of the axe          drops to 1, it can’t be used again, you have to go to the blacksmith to buy a new one.
  4.2 Axes of middle or high level will have higher durability and can be used for a much longer time. What’s more          it’ll increase the axe skill experience if the players fight with timber felling axes.

5. The acquisition of resources

  5.1 Every resources gathering area will have timbers of three different grade. The higher the grade of timber is, the          harder for the player to acquire it.
  5.2 For example: Players can find a lot of timbers of 1st grade, a handful of timbers of 2nd grade and a few timbers          of 3rd grade in suburb area of Athens.
  5.3When all the trees are timberged. It will cost a few days for the resources to recover.

6. Special skills of timber felling

  6.1 Special skills of timber felling include timber research, timber felling practice, and timber felling stamina.
  6.2 The skill of timber research will decide the grade of ore mined.
  6.3 Level up the skill of timber felling practice will increase the ability to bear weight of the character and will          enable the character to carry more material.
  6.4 Level up the skill of timber felling stamina, will increase the stamina points of the character and make the          timber felling time lasts longer.

7. Manufacture of timber

  7.1 Players can not produce the timbers directly into equipment before the timbers are manufactured into wood.          After you have learnt the skill of timber felling, a manufacture button will appear in the operation interface. This          means you can manufacture the timbers into wood.
  7.2 Every 3 timbers can be manufactured into a wood. There is no fail rate in manufacturing activity.
        Each manufacturing activity will cost 5 stamina points. Timbers of high grade can be manufactured into wood          of low level; however, timbers of low grade can not be manufactured into wood of high level.
  7.3 Timbers that are kept in the warehouse can be manufactured into wood too.
