UNLEASHING NEW SPECTRUM FOR WIRELESS BROADBAND (13:15) †

• 1) NBP 4G is very important. Overview of NBP; It's not only rule making, government request not only spectrum but healthcare Grid … Big.; FCC build up a special work group which consist of very people from many government offices.; NBP team aim Innovation and Investment. ; 1930 rule has completed in Electric industry.;
• 1) Key driver are Higer useage; higher penetration; diversify application liken M2M.; we found 50MHz at 2007 are available for mobile broadband. Spectrum crunch. Backhoul is big problem, especially micro waive (PtP) backhoul. ; 500MHz provide next 10 years.; NTIA & FCC should provide spectrum by June 2010 president memorandum. ; April FCC release 66 action plan on NBP.;

• 2) Spectrum crunch; focus finding more efficient use and new spectrum for NBP. How we getting new spectrum?; Not easy, can be acomplish. ; We already taken stap, AWS for MBB(mobile broadband).; Sattelite ; In July FCC take mobile satellite spectrum (90MHz) => terrestrial MBB,; TV broadcaster auction which volantally, this is great opportunity…this new approach supported by Gov. and Captal hill. Those are better usage.;
• 2) Wireless backhaul is very important. Below 30GHz, FCC will permit Point to Point use with new antenna configuration.;
• 2) Super Wi-Fi will help MBB…FCC and NTIA seeking and evaluate current spectrum usage… measurement again again…
• 2) Tomorrow, Spectrum Summit will hold in Washington. Some of you come and Join.
