Takebayashi reproduction

竹林をTakebayashiと記したのは特段の理由はない。 再生はreproduction。

竹は製品化されているハズである。 ハズと書いたのは、私自身竹製品を目にする機会がないからだ。

家の周りの竹林に足を踏み入れるのは、 タケノコを食す春先の一時期のみである。

私が子供のころは竹を買いに遠くから業者が来ていた。 お陰で、竹林は立派に維持されていた。

また、近所には「そうけ屋」さんがあった。 文字どおりプロダクトされていたのである。

今はというと、鋸で切った竹を、枝落としして、 近くに横たえるのがやっとのところである。

焼却処理するのも問題が残るし、 利用についても搬出に手がかかる。

結局そのまま放置して、 枯れるのを待つしかない。

食用以外の用途はない。 これが現状。

協働の精神で進める竹林再生プロジェクト 熊本県合志町を参考にしてみたい。
