〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜 US-Japan Youth Forum 〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜 October 20, 2006

With U.S.-Japan relations now spanning more than a century-and-a-half - a period that has seen the relationship evolve through hardships and bitter times to one of renewed friendship and close cooperation - it is worth reflecting on the important role played in international affairs not just by governments, but also by individuals and non-governmental organizations in fostering deeper, closer understanding.

Following the success of the 1st US-Japan Youth Forum, we three like-minded organizations - The Japan-United States Educational Commission (Fulbright Program), JASC Japan (Japan-America Student Conference, Japan), and the America-Japan Society, Inc.- are proud to present the 2nd US-Japan Youth Forum. This year we will be honored by the presence of H.I.H. Princess Takamado.
